Minamising DAoC isn't allowed to make it harder to use hacks and cheats, using any program like this is against the CoC and people HAVE been banned for it in the past in the US. Someone even posted a copy of the letter that got recieved by a banned player telling him why he had been banned on my guilds forum.

I have never used it and never would, if you want to go to windows quite the bloody game for half an hour, its not that hard.

no but seriously.. i see no harm if ppl use daox to read while riding/crafting, checking quests etc etc. Cheaper and easier than a second pc (which btw can easily intercept the datastream aswell ). Apparently Mythic has measn to catch ppl using daoxunleashed and Odins eye (but those two prgs are for one purpose only -CHEATING- and is wrong, but daox is used for (well should be used for ) running daoc in windowed and nothing else.

And the craft macro would be sooo nice if they allowed it .

It used to. Unfortunately the programmer seems to be slow in updating it for europe.

I use it. Its utter bollox that its a cheat. Its just useful for reading emails/looking at webpages whilst resting.

If GOA want people to stop doing it then its simple - make health/power/mana regen instantaneous after battle and make horses speed-of-light.

No I dont think they will either.

when you write in your pass and all you gotta reinstall the game.dll file (the daox one), becuse everytime ya start daoc it downloads the game.dll file (the non daox one).

Just one thing I wish they would let us use is something like UO Assist where you could set up a crafting macro up that can make and smelt items while you go and mow the lawn.

na not at all, I mean, Eblessair (I think, apologies if my memory is incorrect, was some hib though) spotted an alb relicforce in odins, and used IRC to warn the mids, you´re right, won´t effect the game at all
