When it comes to macroing i pretty much don't like it. You loose all sense of acomplishment if you wake up the day after and realize, "oh cool, 999 crafting". that wouldn't have been fun anymore. But for the daox issue i can not see why it should be illegal at all, rather ban players who intentionally use it to either macroing or other forms of cheating, not punish a poor player because he happened to alt+tab out and accidentally surfed the worldwideweb for something(porn) while he waits for the bar on the itemcrafting to be completed.
