Hello all again,

The new version is available, there is lots of peeps I wish to thanks for the help, I receive tons of mails from Midard players from every angle of the planet. From here in Excalibur I make a small list of characters:

Yeay! love that program and the new additions you've made really was great :) (the cap thingy and some other things)

BTW, was thinking about the items in the vault and how to possibly make it more effecient to contribute with new items and information on the items. Perhaps set up some email adress where we can send you the .mdb files for merging or set up some sort of email list so all users interested in adding to it can send to it and reply to eachother and and and.... I'm stopping there but I think you get the general idea ;)

Haven't found any noticable bugs yet, but will inform if I find any..

going OT a bit from the vault assitant :)

was cruising some tradeskills boards at www.daoctradeskills.com and found a similar program, but this one more directed for spellcrafting, but also for configuring drops and things like that..

Some kind of "central email address" to exchange and make a big merge of databases is a good idea.

Will apply it on the page asap.

Nice software that Leladia's Spellcraft, I thinking to implement craft stuff in the next version (since ppl can create items also now in the item manager).

Looks even better now :)

Got a few remarks though, wouldn't it be smarter to show the actual stats of for instance Strength, in my case it says Strength 213 and then it's colored as overcapped. I would like it to show the 200 which is my cap and then color it as overcapped.

Overcap color in resists doesn't work, and would like same functionality as above.

Keep up the very good work.

Found a bug with calculating hitpoints prolly due to some formulas being a little off..

I tested it with all my armor rings etc. off me and wrote down the HP without buffs, just straigth from CON.. then I equipped all the items on me and set them up into DVA 2.4 for testing..
The result was something like 200+/- HPs off my actual score..
I doublechecked the items and they all had the correct values applied to them so nothing wrong there..

Dunno about any other classes, but think the different classes calculate HPs from CON differently (rouge, caster, tank tables)

Yep. You filthy middies have only 3 tables tho afaik - casters, skald/sb/hunter/healer/shaman/thane, warrior/zerker.

Version 3.0 is ready will send a new post with a screen explaining bugs corrected/implementations.

Casiraghi: Good sugestion, will be done for next version (3.0 alredy closed).

Odysseus: Alb/Hib version will be implemented only when the Mid version is 100% OK, or I will make an amazing mess here, anyway I receive tons of mails from ppl asking it and soon or later I will do that.

Sortbane: yes the "bug" exist in 2.4 cause I have no idea how to calculate it, in 3.0 is partially solved, will explain it now:


I apply the follwing formula for CON/HP:
1 point of CON = 4.3826553 (rounded)


For the cap for HP (only points earned from items!) I apply the follwing formula:
char level * 4



Why I consider it remain partially solved then?
Cause it works for my warrior but like Belth say in the previous message maby we have diferent hp/con tables, and since I dont have many alts at good level I have no idea about other race/class hp/con tables :(

There are 2 important thinks that I need help for the next version:

1) that con/hp factors for the other races/classes

2) there is a cap for POWER?


I think the version 3.0 is ready to download, but I will create a new post to avoid confusion.
