all looks very good, and very expensive

Before they fixed the descriptions on the housing page, the cheapest house said something like 'for a mere platinum you can buy this house'. And the 2nd one said 'few platinum more'. So I guess that those are the base prices currently for the 2 first houses. Upkeep would probably be a percentage of this plus whatever extras you have. Plus houses close to entrance etc will cost more, I think. Or close to some pretty scenery or whatever.
