DAOC is too dark

As the topic suggests, my daoc is VERY dark, at night time ingame i can barely see a thing, which i cant work out, as i never used to have this problem. I stopped playing for about 4 months, and within that time i have upgraded my gfx card to a radeon 9800 pro.

No other games are dark, and i have daoc brightness at the max. Anyway to change daoc brightness and NOT my monitor brightness, or windows brightness / gamma etc?
