Speaking of Dark Age of Camelot, once I could tear myself away from the computer and Walter's voice no longer resembled that of Charlie Brown's teacher, I focused on a few bits of information regarding the upcoming expansion pack.

"Expect to see a new race and class to be revealed in the next month. The class will be accessible to all three realms."

He also hinted toward a few more things in the works to help bring back the "roots" of Dark Age of Camelot to the community.

They should up the sidi-drops so you might consider using them instead of artifacts (Tho I am using a offhander from sidi)

My guess for the new class all three realms apparently will share:

Hib and Albs will whine and whine about the Midgard version and call it extremely overpowered. The FOTMs will reroll Midgard to play the new class there until Mythic completely onesided nerfs the class into oblivion - but only for Midgard.

Mids and Albs will whine about the Hibernia version and call it extremely overpowered. When the Midgard version is nerfed, everyone will reroll hib to play the class there. Mythic will eventually make a slight adjustment or leave the class alone.

Albs will whine about the new Albion version and call it extremely underpowered. Mythic will not make any changes to the class and after the dust settles in the other two realms, Albion will eventually start to use the clsas and find out how overpowered it is.

A new race is always such a good idea especially when Mythic cba to implent a race "respec".
Just check Frostalf's and HO's, so many Healers and Mercs would have changed their race if possible.

Can make siege ladders, barriers to hide behind that are movable, etc ?

Lots that could be done with that, and you couldn't restrict it to one realm.

That, to me, sounds far more interesting.

hopefully it'll help bring back RvR rather than "The quest for the holy RP"

(not that I have anything against people questing for the holy RP just it's a bit dull if that's all everyone is doing)

Whilst I rather they didn't add any new races or classes, adding the same class to all 3 realms is at least the fairest way to do it I suppose. Its an interesting twist anyway.

Either way I doubt it'll fit into an alb group though unless the new class is completely capable of filling 1 of the essential roles by itself.

it will be an archer type that can only spec bow and stealth and it will have 1.0 spec points per level... but even then, some will complain about it because it leeches from 1vs1 or 8vs8 fights

Perhaps it's not a new class as such but they're just intending to finally make infils, NSs and SBs EXACTLY the same, which would make many people happy judging by how huge some of the whines are over certain trivial differences. Not that the majority of stealthers should care, since 1v1 is not in their vocabulary anymore.

My guess is that the new class is called "Chameleon". At level 50, it gets these instant spells:

"Albion Envy" - Transforms the caster into any Albion class
"Midgard Jealousy" - Transforms the caster into any Midgard class
"Hibernian Desire" - Transforms the caster into any Hibernian class

With this class Mythic tries to erase the usual whine about OP/crappy classes, but of course they will fail again.

"Omg Hib/Mid classes are teh suck, and they get our OP Alb classes! Nerf!"
"Omg Alb/Mid classes are crap, givf Vamp transform!"
"Omg Alb/Hib classes are p00, takes a n00b to play 'em"

1) A start point respec option/stone/drop/quest ... please

2) Hibernia to get a Norse/Highlander stat race so this new class can give all realms the option of same stats for it ...

Just my 2 cents ... and less expansions please ... its fucking expensive

Nah Firby is similar stats to Troll/Half-Ogre ...

What i want is a 70 Str/Con 50 Dex/Qui Race for Hib ... As imo these are perfect stats for any light/heavy tank
