Damn nice albs!

Instead of all the whining on these boards I thought I would make a post that is the total opposite. I was so pleasantly suprised when I heard the message "188 enemies at Nottmorr" in my /as channel tonight.

This shows that inspite of all the whining and flaming that has been going on here, and people saying that if you do that, we do this, "threathening" to do late night Relicraids and so on, some in Albion still have the guts to attack when people is online and get a honourable fight.

Maybe you didnt succeed tonight, but you made a good attempt and DAMN if you had made it at this time it would have been so cool of you!

I hope that what happened tonight will be the start of a glorious war on Excalibur.

There are always some gimps that need to find an excuse as to why they were beaten, be it that the enemy had one more fighter, they ambushed them, or another enemy sandwhiched them.

Luckily it seems that quite a lot of these people are realising all they do is piss everyone up so they seem to be keeping quiet, i'm seeing much more in the likes of this post and its doing my soul the world of good

Thanks, good Mid! Even if I would cut you down on the battlefield at first sight (or maybe, more likely, stack my DoTs and run), it is still nice to get recognized on these boards. The raid leader, Arindra, was the person who insisted that the raid would take place in broad primetime (according to the statistics on the DAoC EU website, the server population peaks between 21 and 22 GMT) when so many Mids were online and waiting to rush and defend. It would have been easier to do it during the "fringes" of primetime, of course, but the accomplishment would have been greater had we succeeded this time.

I'm still amazed that we managed to get the big zerg through amg without detection. So many times did we have to turn back because scouts reported stealthers and enemies in the area.

Respect to people doing Primetime raid, but there is no dis-respect to people doing "off hours" raid. Most seem to agree on this and the endless posting of time issues is getting more worn down then the random "pwned" thread/post (what's up with pwned anyway - people owning so much that their "o" key is broken" )

Glottis is right. Of course this is why all honorable Albs stick together in the big blob zerg. Honorable ppl must stick together.

Then we have the criminal mids and hibs that due to their personality scatter up in 1-2 FGs. ( this is not due to them wanting smaller scale rvr)

Unfortunately, despite the intentions of this thread it's ended up in whining once again

Personally, I think it was a very nice attempt. It didn't work, but getting so far in primetime is an achievement and there were quite a few worried mids

Having characters on Mid, I can firmly say that those grey con albs give me nightmares. No really. I know I am just overpowered, but I'm too scared to attack the Albs.

On the other hand, when I play alb on an alternate server, I feel nothing but pride and strength. When I'm playing my alb characters I laugh at those cowardly mids and hibs as they run around in opposite directions begging my grey con scout not to farm them!
