I raised £250, give or take some pennies. The pose was to get the lighting right for my shitty webcam, and that's the only way it will actually look purple, instead of the off ginger it actually is.

I'm downloading Direct connect right now. I'm apprehensive. I read the changes to the new version, and the only thing I understood is that the font is now white, the rest breezed past my understanding. Its such an arse not understanding computers that well. Its not like Im thick, but part off my brain just plays dead when faced with technology. Intellectual narcolepsy.

Well I currently have about 9,000,000 bands marching RIGHT PAST MY FUCKING HOUSE making the most godawful attempt at what I'm sure they mean to be music of some sort. Or at least some sort of co-ordinated rythmical clashing and wailing. Three problems:

1) No co-ordination.
2) Each band member is playing according to their own individual rythym.
3) They can't play anyway.

That's actually total bull. All marching bands are sinister in their own way, but you know what I mean. The ones where I'm from are sinister in a "moronic, why are you wearing that dead beat up bear slither round your neck, who let him free with a drum, what the hell song is this and why are you all so sweaty???" kinda way. No politics. Well, inter-scout group rivalrys, but that only vary rarely degenerates into violence.

I don't really understand the whole troubles thing. I guess it wouldn't be best though to chase the terrorist marching band down the street, banging a saucepan lid with a wooden spoon though... I retract my suggestion, and replace it with the suggestion to download "Good" by Morphine. Its a song that makes me smile alot. Didn't realise you lived in Ireland either Sar? Unless the band have got very lost, Im assuming you do.

I'm a natter box today. First day reunited with ADSL. My preeeeecious..... I can't play DAOC because Im too impoverished to pay the subscription, and without toe amputation, I cant see my playing it till after easter, so I'm gonna be spamqueen here. All bow before me.

I cant believe that I've had the PC on since I came home from work and haven't read any threads because my head was too mashed. (Very stressful day). If I had known what was going on in here I would have joined in hours ago. I dont think that you can say that you aren't a writer Damini after everything you've wrote here today, and previously.

As far as pyjamas go every girl must own a comfy pair with cartoon bears on of some description, I'm sure that it is a law somewhere, and I should know I work in a Solicitors. How else are you meant to forget that your turning into a House-wife type and remember that you are a still a girllie deep down. Hee hee.

As for getting a pet we have two dogs, if we ever get a scanner fixed up, or a web cam i'll show you them. They certanly keep you busy when you'd rather be sitting feeling quiet and stuff, but its normally always fun. I also have a fish but thats just boring, I only have one because he's killed all the others and now I think that he's going to live for ever.

lol you dont need to register a nick on quakenet, just type in the nick you want and if its not in use it will give you it if you figure it out ill be around in #][ no stalking though, but i reckon i can come up with both of those give or take a day or two

I've managed to get as far as double clicking the mIRC icon. Then I flounder hopelessly in a sea of pinging noises. Lol... I don't think it is to be Raw. My brain is just too ill equipped to survive out in the wild. Go on... without me.... Kenny might be able to help, but he's in DAOC. I prod him every now and then to ensure he doesn't get bed sores, but actual interaction is a non event right now

Then I got booted pretty much straight away and couldn't work out how to get back Kenny has now developed an immunity to my shouting, and is no longer running to assist me in my every computer balls up. Highly dissapointing. I'm going to have to try and retrain him. Maybe using a high pitched whistle? Or a trail of biscuit crumbs...

However, on the upside, this novel encounter with irc has honed my dormant swearing skills.

Aye, I'm in Greater Belfast, and thankfully they stopped so I could watch Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (all 199 mins of it) and the fucking superb Akira.

No I'm not a solicitor, (thank God). I just do the accounts for them. We have three branches, one of which specializes in criminal defense which often gives me cause for unrest. Although it seems especially ironic when one of the partners gets broken into, and you're pretty sure that we kept the little scrote from being jailed a week earlier.

As for dressing up cats and dogs, I dont need to use dolls clothes as at christmas i found a great shop that was selling Dogs T-Shirts in three different doggy sizes, Oh my babies were sooooooo happy when they opened their x-mas prezzies. Hee Hee. We made Judy (the little one) wear hers all day whilst me paraded her around to various family members homes. She just kept hiding in embarrassment like I'd made her wear the nasty X-mas jumper that your nan always buys for you.
