Damage difference

Does SSA really frontload that much more damage than a 100% quality Sabre? - since Sabre hits faster, and properly do more damage overtime?

Thanks in advanced.

not quite sure, every weapon has a chance to hit your damage cap as far as I'm aware (as long as its the weapon of your level), but slower ones do have a much greater chance of hitting cap more frequently than the faster variety which seems to be quite random in comparison

hitting faster = more hits = more crits... but frontload rocks :D

Imo the best way to go is to get a weapon that with quickness and maybe theurgist haste buff will take you close to cap speed. Slow weapons are only good for showing off your damage on screenshots, where you cant see the overall damage.

The "more hits = more cits" theory dont hold water tho, the fact that the hits will be weaker and thus have a smaller crit should (i think) theoretically mean that it evens out.

for example... friars imo... should use bsd because of its spd. (5.6)... ofc vs. stealther its a problem... but they dont like gettin 300-400 dmg per hit :O i like it
