Sorry i just want to clear this up, if i see this:

You super uber slash someone for 20(-2)
You slash someone for 57(-3)
You critical hit for 15(-4)

I know the number in brackets has already been deducted but does the 57 include the amount from the style? I always thought the crit hit was seperate but is it?

Example:

You perform slash_style_1 (+20)
You hit mob for 50 (-10)
You critical hit for another 30 (-6)

This means: The slash_style_1 style gives +20 damage to your blow compared to not styling at all.

The damage dealt to the mob is 50+30=80dmg.

Ahh ok thanks, my memory is terrible i couldn't remember the format.

Critical hits dont have (-6) etc modifiers. They are a random percentage of your first actual hit so in effect have already been modified.
