a) they attack me
b) they are fighting alongside some higher level guys
c) I'm near the portal keep and I want to draw some people out
d) they're scouting our movements
e) I've had a bad day in the office
Always try and avoid exp killing though.

And I hate people using buff bots, seems they are afraid to stand on their own two feet.

but running away from a grey when u are pruple to them is really cowardly dont you think?

I would never run from a grey!
nor would i cause a bunch of mobs to attack one
and i wait if some poor little middie scum are killing something before i attack them

You spotted my level 27 armsman alone in DF. I pull a plated fiend and then you poison me after it hits me once. Did you realise I would lose XP and con?

Did you get any RPs at all? Just wondered how it works cause i lost XP so wonder if you gain RPs aswell or if its just a one way thing.

Like I said in my post, killing greys is fine I guess (not that i would find it much fun) but waiting until they pull and then doing it? Thats just a bit lame.

RPs on greys aren't worth the poison used.
If you die an exp-death, no rps at all.

Guess it's another Alb who found out what it means to get exp-killed.

Bit different to be on the recieving end for a change, hmm ?

This seems a contradiction - "RPS on greys arent worth the poison used" and yet you poisoned me and I was a grey?

As for being a bit different to be on the receiving end I would have to say no, it isnt. I've never dished it out so Im not sure what your on about to be honest.

I suppose the funniest part was when you ran off after hitting me, presumably incase I was to fight back?

The whole concept is stupid.
Take situation for a change - i lag out and pudz perfs me. 2 minutes later i`m rezzed, rebuffed and smoking waiting for rez-sick to reset. 'nother day, he's on recieving end and guess what - his char is sitting on pad, he himself sitting somewhere - drinking cofee, or chatting in /gu or whatever. Got killed so what - no big deal - better luck next time and something new to learn about dos and donts out there.
For someone with exp to loose - well, its kinda frustrating to have to go over same boring procedure of ganking ai controlled mobile objects to increase value of certain field in goa's database back to its value.
So its a bit unfair that by design you have different costs for the same mistake.

problem is you can't remove the poison from a weapon once it's applied

Nah, just looking if some other cattle has spawned further down/up ... I know pretty good how much damage that poison does, so no point in waiting longer than needed.

I did wait until I pulled - i was on full health. The mob hit me once then you hit me.

Anyway, Im over it now If I see some message abuot xx was killed by cylian, I do a /who before I resume my hunts. Thats why Gabrial was standing around yesterday waiting - I saw the message about you killing those level 17 chars so knew you must be knocking around near the entrance taking out low chars.

I suppose it gives me a new line to Roleplay - my brother (alt char) was killed by a midgardian(?) so now Im seeking vengeance against all of them. Soon ALL grey midgards shall know my name and fear me! A bit like when Anakin goes nutso in Star Wars and nails that camp

I'll just have to find directions to this Yggra place now and level up my character

If you go to an RVR zone, then you should expect to be attacked and killed, whatever your con, whatever you're doing, whoever is around you.

I've been ganked loads in Yggdra and DF, last time was by a 50 infil who waited for me to sit down before one-shotting me (I was 22 at the time iirc).

It pisses me off every time, but after a minute or so I think - well, if I wasn't in an RVR zone, then I wouldn't get killed, so it's my own fault.

If you don't like it, there's plenty of realm zones with mobs to exp off.

Grey killing is cheap, sure, but we all know there's hundreds of people out there who do it, so why the hell are people surprised when it happens?

I kill anyhting that moves, grey con, green con, blue con, anything, and am quite proud of it.

Apparently this game is NOT sposed to be all about realm points yet we get peoiple whining "but i was like worth 1rp, how could you"

Get over it u wusses. Ganking greys is often fun, toying with greys is often fun, dancing and waving them along is also often fun. Either way, you got no leg to stand on, now shut up and bugger off
