awwwww when i was over there i cuddled 2 koalas and i have to say they are the most lovely creatures ever, and when they walk along the ground there bum sticks up and makes em look like a tellytubby.

The only problem is that if you yell, sneeze, make a sudden movement, drop your keys or a car drives by... they have a heartattack and die

they look cute and cuddly but they are evil!!

when they are hanging in trees they are actuelly sucking out of the tree juice!

lol when i was over there i went to a place called dream world and they were doing talks and stuff about the native wildlife, the koala lady was doing a talk and holding a mama koala and the baby was crawling about in the tree and then we heard this little "eep" and the branches wobbled a bit, the baby had slipped but was ok so she went over to get it and instead of picking it up she held the mama with its back to the tree and these little arms popped out and clipped on to the mamas back it was soooo sweet and about the size of a large guinea pig (the baby).

also wombats are cool too, we saw a wombat talk and the lady turned the wombat up a little to show us her pouch (the wombats not the ladys) and the wombat had a little silly smiley face which you dont usually see as they walk about with their heads to the ground. And wombats feel like a coconut hair welcome mat.


Fact of the minute!..

koalas (and possibly wombats too, i cant recall) have a boney plate in their but so if a dingo tries to get them they just sit on its head and squish it untill it goes away or suffocates.

I saw one of those vet programmes on TV. The presenter was holding a recovering koala. It had lost its parents and had been sick and was being nursed by the staff. Anyway, it was a real nervous twitchy fella. The presenter startled it and it pissed all over her.

They're still cute as far as I'm concerned
