KW notice the words "by default", doesn't mean you can't change it :). I'll get Deathace to up the limit on Katabatic to 32, I don't think it'll be a good idea on Beggar's Run, it'll get a tad crowded.

Id like to play some of the T1 conversions, like Broadside.

Theres plenty of maps on tribes2maps.com to choose from, and also at X-Fab on planet tribes.

There are literally dozens of maps, some good, some bad. A example of a bad map (IMO) is RiverDance Vehicles where the gameplay is totally unbalanced. The ones mentioned above are ones that seem to get a lot of players in.

Thanks for the suggestions Zenith. I'm trying to get Deathace to set up a custom map server which he has agreed to do. The only problem is he is extremely busy. It will happen though.

Ugh played Warpigs a fair few times now and hated it every single time. I do like the whole idea of destroyin shield gen to make caps easier but the level of coordination needed to get past both gen and flag (both far too easilly defended, and you must destroy the gen) is a bit much for a pubby map.

got a chance to play stormdash felt more fun than slapdash, the distance between bases seemed to make people want to buy transports more

was a good level that was mostly lava, Main base, Flag sructure and vehicle pad raised high in air with gangways going between, and a capturable objective in middle. forget name though but played well.
