yeh solo icewiz doesnt really work we found. its tempting to try beat hibs at their own game (grapple+pb) but ice faces much higher resists and more importantly insta-cc counters.

a toa'd fire wiz nukes for 4-500+ without debuff and can bolt enemy casters for 1k+
no pbaoe is a slight drawback vs multiple tanks ofc but as above, 1 icewiz just doesn't kill very well or very fast, especially not vs +20% healing (hello hibs)

because 2x baseline nukers > 1 specline nuker. pbae is nice for pets, zergs & if you got 2 grapplers it can actually be useful.

Imo pbaoe gives u slightly more utility than fire wizzs:

- u can use it against zergs, where lots of ppl wont receive a heal while in pb range.

- is a more defensive specc against tanks, bg'ed ice wizz near ur supports uses to make tanks fly. Also kill pets.

- despite the lower damage than fire DDs, snaring ice DDs are very usefull


However, fire wizzs got their advantages. Its a pbcage killer, those aoe nukes with resists pierce charges from artis active are really nasty.
