just curious bout cleric smite. The biggest smite does only fractional (about 5%) more damage then the base one that all clerics get. I'm talkin over time btw so if u look it up and see base as 126 or whatever it is, note its 3 second cast whereas spec one around 160 is 4 seconds. Anyone catch my drift?

Seems only reason for it at all is only half the mana consumption and timing of smites to get an extra one in (often do 2 3sec ones instead of doing 4 sec ones or vice versa cause of timing of enemies coming closer).

Not only advantage of relatively high smite, just one thing i think mythic kinda screwed up a tad ;-)

the spec smite nukes are pretty useless... they cost less mana, but take a second longer to cast...

Well, just for the heck of it, I made a little full smitecleric yesterday. On level 6, with some luck and good equipment of course, I solo orange undead

The stun isnt worth much at the moment, but I use spec smite - spec smite - base smite - hammer out + pbaoe DD Dont forget the damage add. Blues go down before i even get the little hammer out. (Again undead ofcourse). Did those Large skeletons inCamelot hills that come in two's when they were blue.

Some people watched in horror when they saw a smite cleric
I intend to play her till lvl 20 or so. Then I either respec her to soulless bot or make her more balanced. Untill then, full smite

I also intend to try other uncommon nerfed and gimped specs with other chars

full in my eyes is having reg as the highest spec, doesnt necessarily mean 50
