I absolutely love the look of these games, but when I played rogue leader on the GC for the first time, I was very disappointed. Didn't live up to my own personal hype about it. Shame really, it could be fantastic.
aw c'mon Nath, what about the Death Star mission at the start???? or the Battle of Hoth???? man, these just put you right in the middle of the films... they were just outstanding...
I only hate when the frame... rate. starts.... to ..... slow :s

I never got on with rogue leader, its just a fly about blowing stuff up sim with a starwars license and gorgeous graphics. It was ok but the sequel does look pretty, more of the same?
Yep, just realised why i dont like this game, thanks kez
IT ALL MOOOVES SOOooo fckin sloooooooowwwww
Space flight sims/blasters should be so fast you dont have time to think of what u doing, not pedestrian and slow.
Btw yager on the xbox suffers really badly for this reason and so do most spacey flightsims that spring to mind only one that i can think thats got the right idea is Freelancer, but yep, that too is boring for other reasons
FS1 and 2 did what they said they would - blast blast blast bad guys. Freelancer promised to beat Elite...and its like Space Harrier with cargo routes imo .
Its not total crap, its just not what they promised (mind you fuck all is lately).
FS was cool, i just wish braben would hurry up and release elite 4,
i lost much of my homework time when Elite 2: Frontier was released (and £50 upgrading my old ST to 1mb ).
Someone ought to pick up the rights to the Freespace/Freelancer games and port them to a console. I guess you'd have to modify the controls to suit, but recent games have got better at that.
Space flight sims don't tend to work well. I had Colony Wars Vengence and G-Police on the PSone and they just weren't that good in terms of controls. When compared to something like X-Wing Alliance and Freespace 2 and freelancer.
