So erm, when are your servers gonna progress past CSHPa? You may as well not bother if your gonna just leave A on there. I'd rather play on a server that kicked me occasionally than against lame aimbot users.

Very close to stable, which is good, after 2 months since 4r was released as stable release.

I think with the amount of chsp releases in a brief period of time it's impossible to keep up with it. Also note that there's only 1 server guy for all BW server ports, and updating CHSP on the UT servers every week just isn't possible.

Than the BW Server dude should just concentrate on updating with the latest stable release (4r at the moment).

Praps when 42 gets stable and worth it then yeah (it does seem to be a v good version) but even then don't hold your breath

Your servers not being protected at all doesnt seem to bother you? Probably better to remove cshp altogether so only the outdated bots can be used.

To be honest I'm pretty fed up with both lame arse aimbot players AND CSHP4. It's a vicious circle - if you don't have CSHP then you get cheats in the game though CSHP causes just as many problems sometimes and you can bypass CSHP then it makes it completely pointless. How much longer can UT last online?

Is this really that much of a problem, to be honest I hardly ever play on uk servers as most of them hardly ever have custom maps / mods, most of the commercial ones have this speed limit on downloading so u only download at about 5k a second, and that SUCKS.

i usually go on the first custom map server i see in the ut server screen with the lowest ping.

CSHP is pants. When it is released, it might protect against most cheats then and there, but it's so bug ridden as to be as annoying as a server full of cheats. Every release seems to get followed up 2 days later with a "oh sorry i fucked up", and the current stable release is older and older. The current stable release is 4r, and has been for about 3-4 months, while the beta versions have got past the end of the alphabet. Fixing the glaring bugs so the stable version can be closer to the betas is the first thing that should be done, and until it is, large server farms will be hesitant to install it. I'm also sick of the continually promised utopia of a CSHP version that protects against all cheats and makes you toast for breakfast too. I hope they get their act together.
