shootin

Well, charlie, a good cs player doesnt worry about where he/she aims particularily on the oponent's body. What i find works best and is most logical, whenever i shoot at an enemy just aim at the body/chest, no where else. It's the largest target on the body, and, if you aim there and shoot, you will get alot of headshots too, by luck. Most of the headshots you see people get are just luck. It's impossible to to aim at a moving target's head and hit it successfully unless you're really really lucky. The only time i ever aim at the head of an enemy is when there's an afk, i got my rifle out, and im really far away >=)

Hmm yeah exactly... while running, aim for the chest area, that way i believe the recoil moves upwards and does major damage and headshots... but not thru LUCK thru SKILL

BTW, aint seen this Toast guy in ages, he's been hiding

Most headshots are luck, particularly the ones dished out in a close range scrap. I've said it before, the gunfire in CS follows no known laws of physics.

Check the summerblue report if you don't believe me.

Headshots with the M3 are most certainly not look. And witht eh scout as well.

Anyway, stop being patronising - CharlieAlpha is a great Q3f player. Would i be right in saying you're trying CS, because the CCTF Pub scene is so dead on Jolt/Barrys?

If headshots are luck, why do good players get so many?

Knowing the gun recoil, firing single shots and double tap at head height. I know I get far more now than I used to, just through practice.

Yeah, you use a Gun like a colt or somethin for a while, and eventually you know where to aim and stuff, thus getting better, i've improved a lot incontrolling the Recoil or the Colt/AK which is yay! lol

I've gone for the 'get a big bastard SMG and duck when firing' technique. Seems to work. Aim for the body and when they duck, the combination of that and the recoil usually gets me a headshot.

And following someone around helps too, 2 weapons are better than one.

Human shield doesn't work unless it's the patented "D0LLyStazShield".

Heh, Charlie remember some guns go THROUGH bodies ;)

best advice possible is play loads...

whatever people tell you, wont really help you

you need to play lots to gain knowledge of the dynamics of the game and how to exploit situations to result in winning...
