omg just got this game and i find it sooo hard to tell whos on whos team, and when i do im alrdy dead!!

any tips to a total noob?

You have to get used to it. Try to find servers that have friendly fire off and just shoot at anything that moves.

download a skin pack for the player models, then you can have it so all cts are one colour and all ts are another totally different colour so easier to tell the difference.

Shoot them all - the ones that complain - they were on your team !

Other than that -keep playing - it does get easier..

Another handy tip - drop a 'nade in your team spawn - kill them all - everyone who is left - thats teh enemy.

Don't know if this works in CS:S, but in the older versions you type:
cl_minmodels 1
Easy to remember if you just type cl_min and then press the tab key and toggle 0 to 1.

Basically, what this does is makes the CTs the most noticeable model and the same applies for the Ts; in short, blue = CT, green = T.

It is also possible to update your models/ skins if you find some.
