CS Sniper Crosshair

For some reason my Crosshair for my Sniper Guns (AWP and Scout) has changed, now instead of having a little Dot in the middle of the screen to aim, its invisible.

I was havin a play with my Config, tidying it up, and afterwards i got this problem.

I backed up my config from earlier, but, it still seems to be there (Invisible Crosshair) so i cant use em..

ok.. fixed it.. just got an old backup of meh config and voila..

I wish you'd fix my mic problem gray, i feel like i've wasted a lot of money on this damn thing(£3.00)and it aint working, does anyone know if i need to enable it in console?

My one cost £6.99 at EB and works quite well Im told, transmitting my delicate tones to all and sundry. All you have to do is allocate a key in config.
There is a test thing on the HL menu ??

Hmmm done all that throd, and yes, yours does transmit your nancy southern tones quite beautifully

i paid £35 for mine.. and now some people are sayin my mic volume is too low... cant find how, its on full whack everywhere

BTW, i think your mic is duff Tremor, coz i heard you last night, but it sounded all broken up and fuzzy.

Did you say you done the sound recorder thing? did it work?

if it did, goto CounterStrike, *Play CounterStrike*; *Customize* and put the Mic volume right up.

Sh33pbot. It's a very haphazard thing. Sometimes it hits everything. Sometimes, well, it just laughs and lets me die.

I use a SpazBot and a dieyounoob.cfg

HHHmmm I use a Plantronic mic seems ok only £12.99 from your local Index store. If you run Win xp you need to add a line to config.cfg something like D_sound 1 had it wrote down but I've lost it now. If the mic volumes low there should be a option somewhere to BOOST mic.

Thats the one holly, one of me clan mates had the same problem and that fixed it, if you can remember the command let me know matey, i think i'll buy a more expensive mic though, anyone wanna buy a dogs-bollox mic, seeing as i know you its yours for £4.00, can't say fairer than that!!

Rather than a headset, I got a cheap mic, took it apart, and used gaffer tape to stick it to the side of my monitor, aiming at my usual sitting position. Crystal clear, and a bargain at "free from a mate".
