CS Server addresses

Can someone please tell me where i can find the CS server address so I can enter it into gamespy, I've tried adding a Master Server to gamespy but it wont work as I don't have HL install just the retail CS also all the servers in the list on BW don't seem to enter properly because they use names instead of IP addresses

I've got the servers 1 - 8 from a previous list of mine I just need any others the might be

you can use Gamespy with retail CS...point it to your cstrike folder. ( or whatever you called it)

Or even better...dont use gamespy at all.

I use the half life favourites

Ignore retro-boy here, get gamespy or even better All-Seeing-Eye, refresh the CS server list then play on the ones you want to. Its not rocket science m8

I had a prob connecting to the BW HL Master server list a while back - found it was okay if I shut down zone alarm - you got a firewall up that might be interferring?

I use all seeing eye now. I have problems connecting to the master server aswell ...I dont have a firewall installed so I have no idea what it is.

Apart from that...ASE seems like the dogs genitalia.

Haven't registered it yet...was just giving it a whirl..I wanted to sort out master server probs.

But i'll go for the £7 option me thinks...$30 for the full bugger.

And thats a few sherbets worth down the pub

So, its £7 for a Yearly Registration, and *roughly* £20 for Lifetime Registration?

Well.. that seems like i may go for the £7 option... coz i doubt i'll be playing games like i do now in 2years time or so..

I tend to use HLSW myself. I still dig out ASE for Operation Flashpoint, but HLSW covers everything else.

Thanks all for answering my distress call.

Seems my trouble was the new Gamespy I downloaded, it doesn't let you add your own Master Server unless you register it, solved that problem though by using a version from a couple of years ago which does allow it so panic other.

uh oh.. lol that maybe why i cant add the MasterServer to my GS... but mine is registered! (Not by me, but still )
