The woncomm.lst (original) contains the DNS anmes of the servers, the edited woncomm.lst contains the actuall ip adresses of the servers. Since WOn are prone to changing these IP adresses the new edited version of woncomm.lst needs to be constantly updated and is therefore currently out of date as has been reported. (WOn changed the IP's).

If you want to look again from the original source of woncomm.zip (the cs.net forums) you would know this.

WON is working again, you dont need to use the new file -if you do it wont work as the IP adresses have changed.

PS -No far Ono already went in support of Orbski and now ollitity jumps in as well? b00.

But seriously, I know I was in the wrong, I read the cs.net thread. However if Orbski had calmed down and let me read his thread explaining his actions before he ICQ'ed me offensively I would have apologised.

I dont sit here in front of my pc all day, I have to work to. The only reason I attacked him in the first place was because I had a bad day at work, but then to come home the next day to offensive ICQ's before I even had a chance to make up for writing my reply to his post -well fuck that I aint apologising.

Your comments about posting where I live? Amature, grow some balls, a sense of humour and a life. I post here cause I like Cs, this aint real life so dont get to offended by what people write here.

Ok, i've downloaded this fix, cos i've been having the same problem, and still no luck! I've got a match tonight too

Where do you put woncomm.lst? I've done it over my old one but is there anywhere else?

Lead did you bother reading the post?

The woncomm.lst with the Ip adresses instead of DNS server names is unreliable as WON changed the actuall IP's, basically unless that new woncomm.lst is updated it wont work for now.

So bascially dont delete your old woncomm.lst or you will be buggered. AS far as I know (having just played both Cs and tribes 2) WON is fine, any problems you have connecting to it are, this time, with your ISP.
