Has BW been playing with the CSGuard aka HLGuard server protection thingy. I had very intermitent connections last night (though could be BT's wonderful ADSL service which is falling over again). Just curious.

i havent had any connection problems, but i keep getting graphical errors, such as having to turn corners twice.

i know its not cause by lag as netgraph shows my conn as clean, and i have only noticed it since the new update of hlguard.

anyone experiencing similar or am i a loner as usual? :/

I question the accuracy of netgraph...

The turning corners twice thing is definately lag or packet loss. That happens to me without any help from CSGuard...

Aye Isuck, your right about when your moving you seem to "Fall back" a few spaces (Sometimes it knocks you onto your side) totally buggers your eyes up when its happenin lol. My Internet connection seems fine, not lagging, but i do notice i get Graphic Lag every-so-often now

I get that white flash too - usually someone throws a can or something and then my screen goes white for a few seconds - very confusing :(

I doubt if its csguard, unless they are using a really dodgy cfg file for it.
More likely 1.4 doing it and hence why 1.5 is out in a few weeks/days/months ;)

..hope 1.5 fixes my net conn for CS
