Read a review of Condition Zero last night from this months PCZ, turns out to be wank.



Its due out on August 22, with the publishers stating that 1.6 will be available a week or 2 before.

Single player CS was always going to be suspect.

Just never realised how bad it could be

Cs:CZ was hailed as the best FPS ever made, magazines raved at how great the previews were............PCZ said it looked great in their sneak preview (months ago) as did PCG

Been looking foreward to it for ages now, after reading the recent reviews im not impressed.

Reviews don;t mean nothing. Truth is , some people will like it, some won't.
Me I rarely if ever play sp games anyway.
(Ill still buy it though. Cos Im a mug for games )

Was suppost to be good when Gearbox were developing it. Aparently turned to shite when Ritual got their dodgy little mitts on it. All the new content is to be found in patch 1.6 apparently

They should've waited a while and then developed it on the new HL 2 engine instead of that crap one tbh. :\

It does rock, but yesterday a corpse finished planting the bomb, and you can't deny the shield is bugged as hell.

Magazines are in the business of building up the hype - there's not been a lot of excitement in the PC world of late, and any excitement that has been generated is from games that won't be around for a while yet (HL2, Doom3 etc).

So of course they're going to say CS:CZ looks amazing/best games to come along for ages etc. etc. ... but their sticking point is their 'honest reviews'. But by that stage people are too excited and will go and buy it anyway thinking it can't be that bad.
