cs connection prob

this is prolly a dumb noobie prob. but i cant connect to cs servers for some reason.

I can get onto HL dm servers etc., and i'm sure i have all the latest patches but when i try to connect to a cs server it runs through the full screen console stuff, gives me a "connection accepted by server" message then states the build1786 stuff and server number and then just stops.

I can still get out of the console and i can still type stuff into the console etc. (my computer isnt hanging) but it just wont move on from the full screen console to the actual team-select screen.

Help!? please?

How long are you waiting for? And have you tried several servers?

yea i have had this probelm 2.
ever scince i installed the new versions an patches it gets 2 that point an stops.... i left it 4 half an hour an nothing
its rlly annoying........

once it has got 2 the server build 1785
and stopped

i know a friend who had a similar problem several months ago. try sticking it in developer 3, i thnk that's the one that lets u c all the lloading info, see how far it gets into the map load before it stops. he'd wait around 5 minutes for the map to load i think, not sure how he solved it..

I am also having this problum,
I cant denni Im a bit pissed after it took me = Lets see 15 BLEEDEN hours to download with a download mngr, (GetRight)
Ive tried typing "retry" but nada. There is a lot of ppl with this Problem and still no sign of a Remady, Antidote, Fix,

Ive been trying to fix this since i got CS 1.3! 3 day's ago.

I have Half Life v 1108, Blue Shift, Opposing Force,
Team Fortress v 1.5, Death Match Classic, Counter-Strikev 1.3,


And Counter-Strike is the only one I havent Played So please (Yelp me Someone Quick) Yes i said Yelp
