Heh Wilier, I wish I could do that but my *cough*, monitor is only one and a half inches long... *ahem* I mean big.

By the way back to the original question... pixel? Do you play in software mode? That mode rocked... played with it until beginning of this year :D

You got to love software mode and the way you can't fire bursts because the sight just takes soooo long to get small again.

Heh, BUT you really do have to love the fact that with software mode you can see through walls when peeps stand right up against them :p

hmm, talkin about NetGraphs... i used the command yesterday just to see what it does, and it said i had 60FPS, now does that mean its my Graphics Cards / Internet?

I believe that the FPS side of Halflife based games is totally dependant on your Graphics card. The better the card, the more FPS (upto 99 that is ;) ) no matter what the speed of your connection.

/waits to be corrected

What card are you using?

just type in the console cl_showfps 1
up in the top left of your screen your current fps will be shown

never tried the netgraph thing way, i'll have to try it, see if there is any difference - which i doubt there is

Grimes I think you do get a different result from net_graph 1 than show_fps 1 and I think I right saying that it should be the net_graph 1 reading that is the one you are trying to get to 99. Hardware aside lol I also think that these are the general recomendations for how to get 99:

Set

fps_modem "max"
fps_max "99.0"

also if you have a GF2 using Nvidias drivers you can go into control pannel, display, settings, advanced, Geforce2 gts (In my case), additional properties, Open GL settings and dissable vertical sync (Vsync).

Am I talking sh*te again? Any additions to this things to do list ??

The reason why you only have 60fps is most probably because of vertical sync. If you go in to the advanced option of you display drivers you can disable vsync in under the opengl tab. This stops your fps being limited to the refresh rate of your monitor.
