CS and the damn console

I just reinstalled HL & CS because after i patched HL to 1.1.0.7 it wouldnt connect to game servers.

Now i have done that im back using 1.1.0.6 which is great blah blah.....

Well i cant open console in game ne more....and i cant find the bit in configs where u assign a key to open it...(like Priimary Fire: Mouse Button 1)

Get me?

Can ne one help?

Also can sum1 plz tell me what the console command to set the gun to right hand.....?

And how do i display my true ping & FPS?

I would prefer if u can answer my first question plz....TA

1) Have a shortcut to CS. Right click it and press properties. Then, the target will say something like C:\sierra\half-life\hl.exe -game cstrike. Type -console at the end of it.

2) I don't know what the console command is to change the weapon to your right hand but just go to 'Play CS --> Customize --> Advanced' and uncheck 'Left handed player models'

3) When you have the console enabled, get it down by pressing ~ and type 'net_graph 4'

what key would you use to open the console? Put this in the CS config (or any other mod). bind "x" "toggleconsole" where x is the key

All sorted now....I uninstalled & reinstalled.

Console key is back to ` now

about the left hand thing, i have the following lines in my config

bind "[" "setinfo lefthand 1"
bind "]" "setinfo lefthand 0"

so i can change hand whenever i like,

or if u want to keep it right hand just explore the configuration - its in there but ive forgotten exactly

I sorted it for the first time EVER!!!!

With lead nibblers help...

I have been playing CS left hand for months.

If i tried to play Unreal Tourny left hand i get 0wned....oh i do @ CS.....




How do i change my forum profile and the bit that says sumin below

Its not difficult - just takes some time to LOOK for it
