But its feckin funny when you change the Weapon Skin, and the Picture on the buy menu looks NOTHING like you one you get

I have been experimenting with skins lately (not wooly dolly dont fret), one thing I have noticed is how some of the excellent weapon models and skins look superior, but take a large stick to my fps.
Hopefully any weapon changes in 1.4 will take this into account. The other day, at ct spawn on assault, all the cts bought M4s, which I have a really cool model for. My fps dropped to around 20! And that was before they started hopping around!
Sadly therefore, the fish fetish has gone.

So do you have Netgraph runnin all the time then? I heard that sometimes causes a bitta lag?

cl_showfps 1 (0 for off) shows the fps without that puffy graph

i think he meant when ur climbing boxes and such, with a pause after every jump.. like office for ex. with ct's climbing up to the window near the apc. i've only pissed about with 1.4 briefly though, having a look at the new map, with all the windows overlooking the outdoor bomb plant.. should be fun :/ (cant remember the name, the Lord from Cobble's summer house, you'd think he'd just go into hiding ffs, or stop buying huge houses.
and as for the names of the guns, if they call the Desert Eagle the Nighthalk im quitting cs.
well, tbh, i've never taken much notice of names or pics, colt = 4,3 aug=4,4 boomstick = 4,6 etc.
i only noticed the pics and stuff when i first started playing.. when i spent hours in spawn pressing b, having a look, pressing 4, having a look, pressing 3, "WOOHOO i finally got a fucking gun"

Lol, i remember only to weapons which had fake names.. Deagle and Aug.. the rest i forgot lol
