This has got to be one of the few occasions that I'll actually agree with MT... Foption Sucked !!! Arab Streets was ok, but some peeps had issues with some of the grafiti (spelling ??)

Foption was a deathmatch level through and through, one man as a CT could control the entire game if they knew where to go and quickly. I played it in a leauge game once, very hard toplan for what with 3 bomb sites -probably the most exiciting and tense clan game I was ever in.

So what I am saying is its not shite, but its not really for public servers if u want to keep the spirit of teamplay.


Cs 1.2? What did u expect a enw game engine, laser guns, spinfusers? The beta stages are long gone, Cs is a finsihed product. The only thing you can expect now are bug/cheat fixes and maybe the odd map change (which is still giving us more than most game developers). TBH I dont care if they dont change Cs its still a good game, and it feels settled now. Adding weapons does little other than please the whinners on cs.net fro a while. Who honestly uses more than 3 of the weapons in the game anyway? Put your hands up thoose that regulary use the: TMP, MAC 10, or H&K UMP.

Hmm just as i thought not very many at all. Colt/AK and MP5 are the staple Cs weapons coupled with your choise of pistol. No point adding more weapons that no one will really use. Every catogry of weapon that you could really want/expect has been put in.

Why not just stick a freakin Nuke in there........... All CS needs is some new maps, bug fixes (like that stupid crouching damage bug grrrrrr ) a few mors skins would be nice just to make a change from the usual................. apart from that the only thing that it needs is a few servers for ppl who want to play prop and not slag everyone off all the time. Basically CS has become a victim of it's own sucess as its so accesable for everyone including so many little pricks that want to spoil it for the rest.........

I loved finding out how to kill all the Ts on foption...just press the button before the end of the round and they all fried the start of the next one

They should really bring back the APC for siege, but they should also concentrate on the A part of APC as the thing was made out of cardboard and you died as soon as you drove around the corner. I did discover a way around this was to reverse it all the way in as the armour was thicker and the sniping bastards couldn't take me out. It also caused great amusement as I reversed the bloody great thing better than my vauxhall Astra.

As for the lazer guns. Why not just have lightsabers instead of the knife now that would be worth watching.

The APC was super shit....it was too slow and meant that the other team could still rush to the middle area and since an AWP(AMP) could go through the armour it was pointless. CS maps can't be designed to use an APC proper as there are very few routes you can take....max per map is normally around 3.

This situation will change with more broadband connections able to handle large open areas.

Erm did you not read the rest of my post. I said they should improve the APC didn't I? Not just slap it back in as it was.

Perhaps you didn't understand me either....its nothing to do with the APC donut...its to do with the size of the maps. Improving them is easy...just most people won't be able to play on them due to lag etc.

Dont know if this is true regarding Cs1.2 but I am sure I read on one of the CS web sites that some of the weapons WILL be changing on version 1.2.

From what I remember :

AWP will no longer be included.
Scout's power will be increased
Colt will now include a scope.

Im sure that there was more, but I cant fully remember

I can think of a lot of people who would have problems if these changes were true...although a colt with a zoom would be interesting (beta 2.1 anyone? )

colt with zoom will be ultra powerfull and thus kill the game, removing the awp will remove a weapon that is loved an hated in equal measure and will annoy everyone. Also the AWP does not do one shot kills these days most of the time.

Scout made one shot kill? fuck off, scout is the best sniper rifle, it cna kill with one shot to the head every time and two quick shots, it is the dogs bollox.

the awp is only good 4 lpb's for ppl like me with a 56k trying to kil someone with an awp is impossible and the amount of lag we get we r easy targets 4 the awpers
