Are the keys still valid? I got a key and am downloading the beta atm, now some people are saying its closed? Will my key and password still work once the DL has finished?

Closed as in not handing out anymore keys or closed as in nothing beta-wise will work?

No one I know uses them They're a business based ISP which deals with a small amount of home users (last time I checked their homepage) they've got bandwidth caps between 8-6pm -_-

So I need a new ISP, with no caps and no download caps

having been able to connect to the servers for the first time (they've had problems all day with connecting) i have to say i'm impressed. very fun and immersive, the suit modes don't seem that usefull just yet, but the weapons all feel and respond very nicely. the menus work well, it all just feels very natural. good stuff!

Yeah I agree too.

I dont think I can say anything about it (even tho the person who told me is not in beta), but there was another reason regarding connectivity issues.

I had alot of trouble connecting to some servers so maybe there was truth in it.

The issue people are having connecting to servers is quite simple, there are three beta clients and currently the 2nd and 3rd ones are in use on servers, the latest one is obviously the third but some servers are still running the 2nd client, you cannot connect to a 2nd client server when you're using the 3rd client however the 3rd client is a lot better, so just stick to 3rd client servers (they are called "Beta 3: XXX"). At the same time, with the influx of players from the last batch of BETA keys the servers were under heavy load, but now they're fine and you should have no problems connecting at all.

Also if you get the yellow textures when you first go in the game, it's just rendering so ignore it and keep playing, it'll go after <5 minutes depending on your computer specs.

As for the suit modes, they are very useful once you get used to all the features, but you can work that out for yourself.

The reason its taking ages to download is cos you need to stop downloading that 4 Gig lesbian porn video from wankywankywank.skankyessexbirds.cum

If you have a decent pc dont bother download as it doesn't want to run well...i.e dont bother unless you have an 8800.

Not sure how much we're allowed to talk about it here, bearing in mind the NDA, so might be best to get those of us in the beta together on IRC or whatever, if anyones interested?

Just reading this, I have had major issues getting torrents the last 3 days, trackers seem to be disappearing constantly, dl at about 20-22kb also

(I disagree with the 8800 point above btw, you just won't be able to run in High settings very well with lesser cards, I'm talking from experience )
