today at about 1920 cet Karl had some nice info for us in the CE as.

he told us that 64 Albs are in odins, not 50+ or any other nr. and also clams it can be more Albs in odins that is /anon.

Question is where do he get that kind of info? to me it smells like a realm leak or cross realming.


so now u may ask for proof. so here it goes:

I cant wait for pvp where this kind of info is more open.

Welll, I must admit it seems a bit odd that the person with the information says 64, and that is it prcisely 64.
But maybe there was a mid stealther at ATK, who counted us, but still it does look like cheat.

If you have a problem with it then ask Right-now, dont bring these kind of posts to Barrysworld because it just turns into one big flame and gives Karl a bad name when we dont knwo for sure if he was "cheeting" and tbh i dont care, i wud still regard Karl as a very good friend in daoc weather he did cheat or not......

Either e-mail to Barrysworld or speak to Karl in game.... dont bring these kind of posts to BW

he counted all the albs, but he didnt know if he had "counted" the "invisible" /anon Albs ?

well if he has such a good eye and can give such a accurate number, why cant he count the /anon players then ?


he must have a good eye, quote "64 non anon, not including other areas of our frontier", u are lucky having such a GODLY player that can watch all ur frontiers for Albs at one time :/

sorry for my whine, just my opinion, kinda sucky sucky, i know Karl is not the onlyone doing this, Albs and Hibs are prob doing the same, but lets try to avoid spying, play the game as its supposed to be, Bug abuse and cheat destroys the game.

look at what happened to Diablo 2.

would hate to see the same thing happen to DAOC.

play the game as its supposed to, u will have good days and bad days, dont make every day bad...

he'll prolly say he has friends in alb who may have 2 acc's n blame them . or his frend from alb telephoned him . either way he used the info to his advantage which imo is lame .

p.s imo its IMPOSSIBLE for a stealther to count exactly 64 people . they all moving aorund etc etc .

negura no offense mate as u said u good friends with karl . but people who spoil the game for others wether its spying or bug abusing they all spoil fun for others and deserver to get flamed .

The thign your are missing is the fact it might have not been Karl! How can you tell that he was not told by someone in midgard that was the original "culprit" and Karl merely passed the information on..... you cant just assume everything and flame him here on BW....

Karl is no cross-spying mofo..Get some fucking facts straight before you post here to put a black mark against his name..Karl is, and has done quite a bit behind the scenes for the realm.

I would trust him with all relic raid plans..Just like this fucking forum that people post here before they gather facts..post on right now, or..did you ask karl how he knew?

The sad thing abut this whole affair is that ce were camping amg anyway and got flattened by a lagtrain about 2 minutes after Karl posted - so his info didn't exactly change anything that might have happened thereafter. It was probably a lan thing (as happened to a relic raid I was leading in albion many moons ago). Its disappointing for the organisers and those involved when it occurs (didnt think this one was organised well enough to be a RR tbh otherwise a couple of groups would have cleaned us up and made sure we released before advancing the main force through amg) and as such shit happens. I gather that much info is passed cross realm in irc most nights anyway I wouldn't single Karl out for any heinous crime.

karl has access to daws lvl 50 clerc in gol (wont be in gol as soon as he logs on) so can kinda guess where he got the info from................. daws and karl are irl friends or so i gathered and i agree this should be right nowed and yes it was a lets head over to odins because mid zerg in emain was pissing us off got mids to move to odins so emain was free

Never seen so many mids in Odins, loads ran straight for atk and killed themselves on the guards and there was still around 90 out there for a while. Nice response.

Let's see here u mean its ok that we get info from alb or hibs as long as its us that gets it, cose i dont think you like it if its our Relic Raid on hibs/albs gets spyed on and we fail?

So its ok for us to use odins eye and other cheats? as long as its mids that do it and not albs/hibs?

Killgorde: that both CE and Blizzard where in odins isnt really the issue. thing is we gather intel from a alb and you for 1 know how it feels to get spyed on.

you clean up your backyard before you clean up you enemys, calling them crossrealmers and happyly act on intel from other realms isnt my sense of fair play. i rather have no relics then have a realm full of cheaters.
