Recently the bloody things have started to change colour after every shot, how do I make them go to the default colour?

Your not using somebody elses config file are you?As far as I was aware the adjust_crosshair command only cycles to the next colour - so you'd bind it to a key and each time you pressed that key it would change your cross hair colour. It sounds like your fire button (I assume its mouse1 - if isn't get your controls sorted lad!) is bound to summat like "fire;wait;adjust_crosshair;" so that the commands executed every time you shoot. If this is the case you can either:

a) If you Half-Life cfg savey - edit your cfg file
b) go to the controls section in the menu, find fire - change the button used to fire to something completley different (and currently unused), for example ";" or "g", then change it back to mouse1

wot Mop said.

adjust_crosshair

command cycles to the next colour in the cycle.

it may look something like :

bind "MOUSE1" "+attack;adjust_crosshair"

Believe it or not, some people actually prefer it this way - helps keep track of where there crosshair is.
