Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

Don't know if this will be of interest to anyone, but MS are releasing a second Crimson Skies, sadly it'll be an Xbox exclusive. Maybe a PC version will pop up eventually.

Make sure you take a look at the trailer, though they've gone for external-only views which is a little misleading, imo. Makes the game look like a poor arcade clone and misses out the great sense of immersion you get in the cockpit.

I loved the original. It combined the sense of freedom you get from flight sims with a superb story, setting, characters and great low-flying action. I've never seen such variety and fun in a flight-based game.

I had a go with this at E3 - very similar to the first one except of course the Xbox controller is pretty unpleasant. I really liked the original on PC, but Sar's comment is correct, M$ are very focused on Xbox now, don't hold your breath for PC, and if you liked playing Crimson Skies multiplayer, forget it, I don't even think it was down as one of the titles for 'Xbox Live'

If it is Microsoft it is unlikely they'll release a PC version of the game as well, not for a while anyway.

or until they reliase the money they can make. crimson skies wasnt really recognised for what it was. Microsoft have crap advertising campaigns imo
