Just in case any of you werent aware, credit card charges are not covered by the recent ban on claiming back bank charges, so if any of you have been hit with overlimit penalties or late payment charges, get claiming! It seems credit card companies pay out so much quicker than the banks.
Also, another useful little snippet is repayment protections insurance. if you havent claimed on it, nor do you feel its useful and you dont want it anymore, write to whoever your credit card/loan company is asking them to provide you with a signed copy of the agreement. if they cannot provide you with one, BANG! State you never signed one and therefore, are entitled to every penny back. This is mainly the case though for people who applied for credit on the internet prior to about 2004 because this is the year when finance companies realised they were messing up and not getting people to sign these agreements.
