Credit Agencies - Amusing!

These guys are jokers,

Apprantly I owe £75 for a netvigator modem I sent back over a year and a half ago, 4 letters (sent to them) and many phonecalls later I get a voice mail saying if I dont call them today they will take me to court..heres my email response!


Dear Sirs

I have sent you numerous letters and one email regarding the "outstanding" debt you appear to think I have with you regarding my "Netvigator" modem. I sent this modem back over a year and a half ago, the fact you are still pestering me is becoming irritating to say the least. Apparently now I have to contact you before 8pm on the 21/09/06 in order to prevent "legal proceedings" amusing to say the least as I don't owe you anything.

Take this email as confirmation of me contacting you before the required time and also as confirmation that I have sent the modem back to Netvigator (currently called "Now") you can call me on xxxxx xxxxxx, you may call me once and leave a direct line to call someone back if I do not answer, if you send me any more letters or threaten me with any more legal action I will be contacting the FSA or FOS to raise a complaint.

ahh I love being a rude twat I proabably dont have a leg to stand on with regards to a complaint but tbh it makes me feel better.

Almost beats the the time I sent an email to Chanel 5 asking where Trisha gets her chairs from because they seem to support about 100 fat people a week. I also asked if her trick is slightly levitating the fatties off the chairs so they don't break.

But a week later I got an email back telling me to contact the production company, I hope I gave someone a laugh in the thier office though

Had something similar with a company 2 years ago, lots of letters sent to me, all of which I replied to, but they never got the hint.

After 6 months of threats I got a name of someone in the Office of Fair Trading, the director of the company and someone in Trading standards, who I CCd in an email to the company, stating who the CCs were. Suddenly they found the right paperwork and sent me an appology.

A month later both the CCs asked how I got on, one mentioning that the company in question had already been in their sights for similar complaints.

Hehe, that sounds like a nice challenge, sending TV cos emails like that...
