Lair doesn't suck - many peoples attitude in Lair sucks.
Many get hit by the "level 50 syndrom" where they only see the presious level 50 and the drops they can hoard together.

And I to have been annoyed at listkeepers lately - and eventhough I am annoyed, I learn not to make the same mistakes and thus at least something comes out of it.
Worst things was when I got a call to get to lair cause there was a spot for me, so I left the (at that time excellent) exp. group I was in with one of my alt chars. only to learn that I apparently had been called there incase 1 person LD'ed again, and thus had no spot. This annoyed me immensly cause I lost a group with an alt char (group splitted up when I left) and had no group with my main.

But bad things happens (especially) in lair when everybody wants to get the exp. - and you must learn from mistakes and try yourself not to repeat them.

I to have heard of - not experienced - some people that complained about BC "creative listkeepeing" where people got disbanded from group when BC members came. I was in another group at that time so it wasn't toward me and I know not if it is true or not.

What I do know is if people (in general - not only BC) intend it to be a guild-group - make people aware of this when they get on list and in group that they are only there untill guild-people arrive and thus I think many misunderstandings could be avoided and some bad feelings to. (bad laungauge asides)

You whine about listkeepers? - try to be one someday, you are getting hundred pm a sec, you have to answer them all, you have to do some other list-things at the same time, you have to fight mobs simultaneously... no wonder people do mistakes...
You whine about 30-pplz-list? /send listkeeper "can I please have your list, we will make team-2"... not many people do that, they prefer exping their alts... Guild lair-group as variant... I never saw guilds other than BC to do such things (I may be wrong, sorry), so in such a groups guild-members have the first spots, then others...

If people arne't up to the taks, they shouldn't undertake the devils job that is the list.
Everybody knows that being LK is a tedious and stressfull job, but if they can't really handle it - why be one?

The only actual "hard" thing about being LK is that you have to dedicate hours to the Lair - cause getting out of LK is harder then actually doing the list. It is not excatly hard to just to write down name, class, level and alt names (or any variation thereoff depending on LK style)

And where have I stated that just because people don't take list is because they "can't handle it" - sheez.

I said why take list if you think you can't handle it or you think it will be to stressfull - I never said that you can't handle it if you don't take it?

I will rarely volenteer for LK cause I hate it because it takes time and focus away from what I want to do - mainly kill stuff and have fun time doing it (and to me list isn't fun). I don't stay away from list because I can't handle it.

Read the post and make what asumptions you want Seven, but don't try to credit your misinterpretaions to me.

I agree. Was in a group in Emain last night with him and Baba, and a couple more BC (cant remember names). And this leads to a story about last nights grouping with them.

I was in a group of 8 with these chaps, we start to leave from mtk and Desert LDs. Another BC guys turns up and is invited into the last sport in the group, the one left by Desert.

I ask if we are going to get Desert back when he relogs. It takes a minute or two to get a reaction, but Baba explains that she is translating for Serzik. Fair enough.

In the end, both Serzik and the BC person who took his place, both disband appologising for their mistake.

Desert and Serzik get their places back and we carry on.

Now, I've never grouped with BC in lair, but this and other times RvRing with them show we that they are generally good people.

The Lair does bring out the worst in people, we all know that. But imho BC is a generally good guild. Some of their guys dont have great English, so explanations can take a little longer than usual. But their English is better than my Russian (you are Russian, right guys?).

hmm...so that is why Serzik doesn't talk that much. He invitet me to his grp last nigth and off course I joined, but it was only the two of us. Then I got a spot for us both in another grp...so I told him that we were merging with them, but it seems he didn't get that. He then took his buffbot (it had his name) and off he ran...

I only hope he didn't think I disbanded the grp because of him. I only left our grp after getting a spot for us both as I would never have left if it was only a spot for me (guild grp's exluded).

We had great fun romping through df the other day, killed all the albs and hibs in the place before they had to go. Tinylisa and I stayed there killing the alb merchants waiting for them to take some keeps before we got bored and left. We got a few Albs that logged in though including one blue con scout that tried shooting us in the back hehe /salute to that person

They powerlvl their guildmates, i.e. they do what every guild should do

i was in a lair group with bc one day last week thay tryed to do it with just 1 group no rm 2 healers but failed then thay asked us on the hill to join them making 2 groups we tryed but after 1 pull things went bad and it was then we discovered why cronos had invited a lvl 39 and lvl 40 into g1 member of bc upon seeing this g1 ppl left and formed a new group at lair how ever it was noticed that there was more bc in g1 than any other also that thay coned yellow to blyue to a lvl 44 and that was g1 there was org in g2 that was not in bc.
so work it out thay r screwing ppl at lair just to get there own guild more lvl 50 but dont have the ppl willing to do lair all day

There already was a lot of flame here, but i want to explain u a few moments concerning that accident.
Let me just describe all situation from my eyes.
It was saturday morning, about 10AM
I was awakened by Stigmatic and told that his RM 50 was invited by Zlo to help to form Lair G1 group. (I was lacking of PBT RM).
I logged my Shakr and helped Stig to get to the spot, as i remember.
Than, G1 was formed and counted 3 50's on it: Warrior, Healer (Reanimator), RM (Stigmatic). Soon, G2 was formed and we started exping, Zlo started the lists. BTW he was arranging both lists G1 and G2 as i remember. At the exp start moment G2 size was 3 or 4 people. So when Gorgone, 47 Thane logged - she gone directly to G2. It wasn't 'list shuffling' or some similar stuff.
After a half-hour Stigmatic went shopping, so i had to play 2 accounts silmutaneously: my G1 skald and G1 puller. It were really hard hours: viewing 2 displays and pullinig with one hand and fighting with other.
Than, we got a G1 healer, 48 level, who replaced Reanimator, who logged his SB twink to G2. No one complained.
After a few hours of really rapid pulling, Stigmatic returned and asked me to log off his RM for some reasons. Zlo found another G1 RM and we continued.
I can't remember moment when G1 healers left us, i was really tired atm.
Note: Zlo constantly and periodicaly wend LD
I was told, that [BC] coming to lair to help Zlo with his last ding. I was 0.5bbl to 49.5 atm. After our people came, i was told to disband from existing group (who stopped exping, unable to continue over is was no G1 healers). We tried to exp with Shammy @G1 instead of 2 healers, afaik it was u, maty. Exp rate dropped as i remember, we lack of PoM.
We COULD continue to exp, but again: we got guild-group came and ready to help Zlo to ding his 50.
When [BC] group formed and started exping @our spot we got several discussions concerning all of u, who lost their exp.
Final resolution was: let them leech. So, Torin told to all of u: you are welcome to leech. he didn't mean that u were leeching, but he asked u to leech! Torin didn't mean to offend u.
Later in groupchat people decided to leave this spot and move to camp, after we did it, all people who follow us was told that we started guildexp and asked to leave.
That's the situation as i saw it my own eyes.
And again: our leaders contacted ppl from G1 and brought apologizes afaik.
I am very sorry, that our behaviour insulted any of you, people.

i am very dissapointed that some of [Rabid Badgers] - people whom i like so much got pissed off. I am very sorry guys. So sorry I hope noone will remember this accident in future.

And i am still hope that all Badgers i can remember: Geysor, Pony, Graenit, Saviour will still be my good mates aswell as our guild mates.

I was in the other group so i just know what ppl told me from the BC group!
1 got ld and when he came back another BC guy had his place in the group, and i know ppl who have the list make it so there friends get in before they should.
From this msg i say it's a lame attempt of a excuse to say that hes friend called him 5am @ the morning to get on to the list.
Just that he wanted his tm8 to have the spot instead of another non guildfriend!
The best thing ppl can do is take the list yourselfs, then don't take in your friends before there spot is up, go "by" the list and there will be no more problems like this!

The newly formed BC group then started pulling from the same spot, also without saying a word to the rest of the group.

Nobody from BC invited us to join you, nobody said anything. We didnt have a clue what was happening.

It is now apparent that BC do this sort of thing all the time.

I can't understand how anyone can think that this is okay.

Please explain to me, I must be thick.

Bee my friend, it is not allways so easy to PM any GM to complain ingame, sometimes its easier to let it out here, and get more ppl's opinions, i gotta agree with many ppl that Black Company has many black sheeps, some of them even worse, but ppl like you and serzik weigh up for alot of it.
BUT u should encourage your guild to be more friendly or else you will get hated, me personally have taken so mutch crap from some of your guild members that i generally dont like your guild at all.

Does BC have a close relationship to Reanimator? If so read under differnt thread about "blacklists". I cannot say anything else then that I'm shocked by his behaviour.

Reanimator (healer) AKA Vadiki (hunter) AKA Oxa (skald) AKA Where (SB).

He leaved BC many months ago coz of RL and ingame relationship things.

2 or 3 months ago he was in Lair black list with his Oxa 4 item stealing.

Please do not associate him with BC at all.

1. if i have to write it again, i will:
I do appologize for "then started pulling from the same spot". We did 2 pulls. I apologize. If u want to repeat it again 100000 times - you are welcome, but i will not repeat my appologiez again - read my first post.

2. " nobody said anything" - lie. I was talking with one from your group (do not remember name, really) and was expecting him to take info to CG, cause it was the fastest and easiest way. If it was noit done - not my fault. Also i was /saying - if you heard it not - again, not my fault.

Well .... i do not like it, but i will say it:
Examples ? one episode means nothing. If you will still tell it that this is the way guild behaves and this is how we do things - that sorry, but you are not smart man at all.

4. And i will repeat again - if you do not like BC - well, we cannot be loved by whole Midgard.
If you have something to say about THIS ACCIDENT - tell it, but stop making statements like "this is the way they always act" cause YOU DO NOT KNOW, how we always act and one small accident tells nothing about GUILD. Want me to tell you examples almost same happend with Badgers, NP and a lot of other guilds in Lair ? but it was LOCAL ONE-TIME accidents and no reason to whine.

I do understand why you are so pissed off - your gruop had no healers, no RMs, you couldnt exp, and SOMEONE from your guild have a guild WHO CARE about own guildm8s and came to help THEM, not YOU - this is the reason you whine as i see it.

Dude, theres more than one thread about BC or specific members of BC now, seems your guild is taking a lil beating on here.

I suggest you relook at your guild policies regarding these matters, and make them stick in the minds of your guildies.

Met a few BC, most are nice peeps, but lately Ive noticed a trend forming. There is another guild who take a battering like this, I will leave it to you their name, but I think your heading down a similar road. Dont go there m8.

If you look at the first line of my post you will see that I was addressing the points made by Shakr. If you want to take it all personally then go ahead.

I didnt start this thread, I only posted because I felt that all sides of the story should be told by those that were there, not just the BC edited version.

What is apparent, especially from your last post, is that you think there is nothing wrong in a bunch of BC ppl arriving at the lair, and just taking over another groups spot. Well I would advise anyone xping at the lair to be very wary of joining a group with a BC person as listkeeper, because the same may happen to you.

Reanimator/Where must be a REAL low-life to have been chucked out of your guild m8. Or maybe he's not low enough, who knows?

Sounds like i bring my level 5 sm to lair, will sit on the spot and tell everyone to be off, since i "claimed" spot and no one is allowed to pull
Btw. official policy states that you should not take another group pulls, saying nothing about location.
