tbh its more fun then running across a bridge, dieing by a stealth zerg and doing that 24/7

TBH it was more intersting ( Dragon Knights went to that bridge to camp on purpose) as we only went to fight hibs because we know after a while there numbers would increase, and it did ( we farmed loads of RPs ) and it took skill to keep up... more albs came.. more hibs came.. then mids came for action.so it ended up like this

Albs
Mids
Hibs

albs above mids, and albs holding of hibs from the top, and mids from the bottom... after hibs pulled back mids had a stab at us.. we had atleast a easy 10-15 min fight just against mids trying to get up.. BC played so Well then tbh ( hats of to u ).

but its more fun then u think when u get fights like that its not the every day thing of running over a bridge --- dieing --- > rebuff -- running over a bridge------ dieing--- Rebuff ...

well i see this thread has alrdy got whine to this is to all of u that has whined

..!.. (o_O) ..!.. :wanker:

majik, we had a good time and wanted to come
here and discuss the RvR fights we had with other players.
Seing as thats what these forums are for, right?

The following quotes are taken a bit out of context but feel free to
read the entire thread for the full picture.

The above two quotes implies that Ginggi (Calaclya) should not tell you how
to play, and yet the second quote directed at me, implies that I should
not come here to this forum and post a thread on a great fight because you
think the fight was not 1337 enough?

I got a strong feeling that you barely read my post before you came at me
since you also posted the following (read my post and you will see I play alb):

You and your 10 warlock friends had fun sitting on a bridge pressing 3 buttons each? ...
So the moral of the story is that ppl should not tell you how to play and yet
you have the right to tell other people how to play?

It was true that going to the bridge was not all that planned but we ended
up there and could not leave for quite a while due to constant action.

In fact, this ought to be as 1337 as it gets, constant action where you are
fighting for survival all the time unsure if you will survive the next 5 seconds.

Then again, we ruined your RvR night majik, Im really sorry about that but
untill you pay my subs and get me a RR 12 char I wont be playing the way
you want me to play.

Regarding the Mr AMG thing, I guess your trying to insult me but I would
actually think it would be pure fun if a bridge zone got named after my
carebear roleplaying ass.

I personally dont find bridgecamping boring for as long as you have alot of action.
If we had a 1 hour long constant fight in the middle of the ocean or on the
green fields of Emain I would be equally happy about it.
I really dont care all that much where we fight, I had fun thats what counts.
And the adrenaline in a really tough fight is quite the icing on the cake.

I just hope the other guys had fun too since thats what this game is
all about, or did I get something wrong here? No, I think its about having fun.
Please correct me if Im wrong on this part but I get a hunch that you should
play for the fun of it.

If you find Excal boring just roll on another server for the fun of it.
Why not give Camlann a try? I must warn you though, they have a strange
mentality there, people standing at you with a sword drawn waiting for
you to finish the /level at your trainer so they can kill you.

And if you kill someone they usually send you a message telling they will
chain you with their lvl 50 warlock alt, it does not really matter if they were
the ones that attacked you and that they were redcon to you and still lost.
(Just to clarify if someone gets hurt by the above, I rolled a vampiir to
try a melee class for the first time in my life and with innate buffs they are
really OP on low lvl PvP)

That figures, old habits never die it seems. Oh well.

Polza, where you there to? I can assure you no one died quickly in that fight.
Except the ones who peeked out on the wrong side of the bridgetower when
a bunch of warlocks came to play in the middle of everything.

Im not sure which mid group you are talking about but the mids who fought
with us in the tower did pretty well. And I can assure you they where not 4 fgs.

You will however have to elaborate that part about the obvius secret, I dont get it.

Ugh, roleplaying in a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. How sickening. :eek6:
Next they'll add other players! :touch:

You obviously aren't in tune with the context I used the word roleplaying in but I can't blame you for that.

these buggers will be nerfed in next week, when patch 1.75 comes, then they will be easyer to kill, becouse they wount insta kill u.

i really like the skald + 2x warlock grp, u will be dead in 1 sec and u wount see what hit ya.

back to the point of the thread..... im glad u had a good time, becouse thats whats this game is all about. usually when u fight in NF u get wiped or wipe a grp in 10 sec flat, but when fighting goes on for a hour its impressive.
i tryed getting to the fight but got cut down by stealthers, both mid and alb side.

i wish we could have that type of fights more often.

imo bridge camping is not fun when its done by stealthers. but when a full grp or 2 waits for a fight there its ok.(now let the flames come, i said camping is OK).

ok thats all i had to say.

Soz for bad english, its bit late here so bit sleepe, TYPO DEMONS :flame:

At least mine is. Last artifact activated yesterday so all I need now is a bit of XP on them and to get the last 3 pieces of MPs SCed.
Cya out there.

I dont see why the well known stealther is hurt so much, i was there with my ranger and tbh i had a good fun. if i compare:
1-roaming hours to kill a solo guy bout (1k rp/kill) with the chance a group add and call you a leecher.
2-continue attacking (50-300rp/kill) in a massive fight.
I pick the 2nd option tbh.

Interesting to hear from others who where there. For once I actually did not
notice archer adds so much, most of the time we had our hands full with
the mids & hibs downstairs anyway.

maybe cuz u pick #2 ppls call you leecher!?

Docs correct me if Im wrong but if u like bridgecamping so much stand a camp a bridge in alb?
since hib let albs and mid keep the keeps in hib just so we can get insta rvr insted of takeing the boat. Every time we have tryed insta rvr in alb random albs and gone and taken the keeps when no hibs/mids are online 2 defend. give hib/mid keeps in alb frontiers and u can stand a camp a bridge how much u want.

Hibs have LET? lol I know of 4 ocassions where hibs have attemped to take one of bolg's keeps. Furthermore I have spent considerable time with Doc's and can tell you the last things he is, is a bridge camper. He was mearly discussing a SINGLE incident which happened to involve a long fight on a bridge.

And FYI both hib and mid had keeps in alb frontier for a number of weeks not to long ago and Doc's didn't bridge camp.

Doc's i hope u dont mind me correcting the above. He/she did ask you to correct him/her if he/she was wrong.

Btw isnt it mid turn to host "insta" RvR soon?

Ginggi to the rescue!

Thanks Ginggi, couldnt have said it better myself!

This whole thread was about an extraordinary fight that happened to get
stuck on a bridge. No more, no less.

I really dont understand why people made me the bridge camper of the month
after one night with a huge fight at a bridge?
When NF was new I did fight alot near Brynja bridge in Odins on early
mornings or late nights because that was the only place where you
could get some action. It was really great for duos or trios, but since Catacombs
the warlock zerg tend to make it a tad harder to solo or duo there.
