Crashing at Char login

Hi guys, tryed a few things here nothing seems to be changing the problem.

If i log in with any Char into DAoC then fine np, can play as long as i like etc. If i then go back to Char selection screen and try and load in a new char then it 98% of the time crashes my pc.
Also i am running a LAN with my Gf's pc (she has never had this problem and doesnt go LD when this happens to me) and my pc is the master.
I also get the same problem if i try and use her account or my friends.

Have tryed a compleat reinstall a couple times, the only thing i havnt tryed is to deleat the "set up log files" but didnt realy whant to do this unless i had to.

Try it without your firewall
I guess yours is the gateway machine running the firewall?

Yep switched off the fire wall while changing chars is a bit of a pain in the ass but works

You dont mention what firewall you use
I use Zonealarm pro
in my programs section, if i right click the camelot.exe i can tick "changes frequently" This should stop your problems.
