Crash Bandicoot

My 7yo son loves this game, he has #3 ("Warped") and #4 ("Wrath") in the series.

Can anyone recommend similar games for the Playstation ? Basically ones that don't involve wanton violence, shooting, etc. They need to have the "something" that Crash Bandicoot has, the whole image and humour, etc.

Spyro the dragon series, made by the same people I think?

Very similar game play and very well done for the younger lot.

I love the crash games, have spyro but its not as fast paced as crash imo.

Also alot more easy.

Crash Team Racing? It's a spinoff of the series, and basically it's Mario Kart. It's also pretty decent.

Also, seconded on the Spyro series.
