Crafting: which is cheapest/fastest?

Anyone know how the crafts are ranked in terms of easiest/cheapest to max out?
Could anyone hazard a guess at how much plat is needed to max each of the crafts?

I reckon it's ranked like (but I’m just guessing):

Tailoring ( 7p to get to 1100)
Fletching
Spell crafting
Armour crafting (Around 30p to get to 1100)
Weapon crafting
Alchemy

I suppose Alchemy and Spell Crafting are the most profitable for the crafter and fletching being the least profitable?

Just curious.....

WC around 20P to 1000 - and a lot more time than any other of the "old" skills - that is everything except Alch/SC

To max out dont know depends if u lvl on orders :) otherwise WC around 100P :)

I dont think spellcrafters make alot of actual money, because it takes along time to SC items, and you cant just make a load and put them in vault (like weapon/armour/alchemy/etc).

They have to make money by either charging obscene amounts, or being online for ages imbueing items (or both).

THATS why its a pain finding a spellcrafter.

5 point overcharge on 8 items takes around 2 hours (if you know what to do and where to craft)
2 plats profit for such a job is quite ok
so we come to 1 plat an hour, not that bad. better than farm hulks anyway :p

From my personal experience :)

Tailoring
Spellcrafting
Armorcraft
Alchemy

Dont know yet where Fletching and WC fits in but i guess the endlist will be something like

Fletching (10P)
Tailoring (10P)
Spellcrafting (15P)
Armorcraft (25P)
Weaponcraft (25P)
Alchemy (30P)

btw Alchemy really really hurts your purse :(

If you want profit don't go for Tailoring. It gives u notthing.
This is because you will NEVER get your 99% items sold.
Something take down peoples economy plz.

wow, you're a pretty fast crafter then. :)
Its if assuming 99% gems, about 40 seconds per gem made (incl material purchasing)

I think it takes about twice as long for me when I make it, but perhaps I just suck at it. :)

If you are crafting to bring your secondaries to a level where you can salvage and trinket (hinge) all items (1000 skill for grey tier 10 hinges) then go tailoring definetly. Wont cost more than around 7p all in all. At skill 800 metalworking you can trinket asterite (diamond seal salvage :) and will start to profit from your invested gold.
Fletching is not terribly expensive either, but both it and tailoring suffer from low returns if your aim is to take orders from fellow players.

Denisée - Legendary Tailorer (excalibur) (taking only 99% orders atm)
Furtim - Legendary Alchemist (excalibur)
Letale - Legendary Armourer (excalibur)
Latale - Legendary Fletcher (excalibur)
Debello - Grandmaster Smith (excalibur)
Citrin - Legendary Spellcrafter (excalibur)

Oh my fucking GOD!

I gave up crafting after spending 1.5p to get MP leggings with a mates borrowed ac'er, it was so boring I felt like beating myself.

I'm not nuts, just get borring waiting for and playing in Emain on Broceliande (my main server). So I desided to craft some on Excalibur, where I've spent some time playing, on my other computer when I was hugging trees :p ( don't need a buffbot in a balanced group =)

Dunno what I gonna do when Debello hit the big numbers. Any suggestions ?

Only 1.5p, lucky you. My record on a Leather Jerkin is 367 tries and on a Leather helmet 513 tries. That order did REALLY hurt my pocket

I'm not sure what you do when you are crafting. It cost me 8p to get to 1100+ in AC.

i thought the list would be

tailoring
fletching
SC
WC
AC
Alchemy

fletching cost 15p or something like that, dont know for sure, but it was more than tailoring and less than WC :p. And weaponcraft 17-18p for 650 to 1025 atleast someone did it for that amount:).

make up youre mind :p . At 1000 ac you can't even make gloves af 102 yet (1035) ...and hauberks is yellow at 1115..believe me, getting there will almost cost as much as from 0 - 1000. For real ;)

Whine!!!!!! :D

I'm 1156 now, and belive me. It didn't cost 30P. Maybe if you craft to 1100 just to GET there, it might cost that much. But if you don't sell off your MP stuff and so on, it's not more money then 9-10P.
