Yeah well said describes my feeling perfectly.

It's a great game concidering I'm paying nothing for it but even though I'm having fun playing it I will never in a 1000 years pay 40+ bucks for it to play it beyond the first 2 weeks.

they sell cov as a standalone, rather than an expansion, but it *is* an expansion for city of heroes.

yeah, and if u buy CoH it wont cost u more monthly just the initial cost of purchasing the game.

buy i'd say CoV >>> CoH by a long shot. the missions in CoH sucks. 90% of em requires u to go across multiple zones and back*.

CoV has 90% of its missions in the same zone, and is usually ALOT faster to complete, not neccecarily(sp?) easier tho.

*until ur standing with the contact is high enough that he will allow u to call him, but that still doesent guarantee that u will get missions at the zone ur in tho....

Sorry bud, hardly been at home all week. Put the house on the market today and have spent some time looking at what kind of places are available to rent. Combined with alot of time down the pub/snooker hall watching the world cup and you can see why I am so busy. Anyway, will try get CoV sorted in the next week or so

A good recipe to make a "evil" character.

Set primary color to white, or secondary, then select some color like red as the other.

Create the character until you like what you see, then switch the white to black and presto

for damage and survivability cant beat the MMs tho, insane class easy mode

taking groups of 5-6 oranges pretty much non-stop ftw

A brute can even outdo that but they take till the mid levels to really shine.

arrrrgh which version do i dl. I tried the coh updater which cho posted and it installed 2.2g of game and login wont work, and also d/l the trail game exe from the plaync webby and sill wont work arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhh /rips hair

Ok, for the updater I gave ;

goto http://www.pcgamer.se/ and fill out the application, it is in Swedish but easy to understand. You will then get a key for the EU version of the game. Take that key and activate it on the NCSoft site after you have logged in, iirc you goto account management but more details can be found here....

The Thugs pets wont blow your mind on looks, theyre designed to look human as thats what the community demanded and he looks really like a big muscly chap. If you want a cool tier 3 pet you need to look at robots, zombies or ninjas. Thugs is just popular at the moment because its new and good for those who prefer guns to lasers etc.

The AI is currently a bit buggy regarding melee pets and in particular the bruiser, while he has phonomenal melee abilities he likes to throw rocks and generally be a bit of a whimp regarding using his fists.That said Thus is fun in its own rights but still cant beat the lights show of a high lvl robots MM.

got a lvl 36 ninja/poison MM, and they are good, but as u said, AI is tempremental, Oni like to Rain of Fire single targets never groups, and the Jounin seem to prefer shuriken/wrist Xbows to katanas

I'm having a bit of a problem.

I transfered chars over to EU instead of US since I had the opportunity of doing so.

Now I downloaded the CoHUpdater_EU from the eu.coh.com site but I can't log in after patching for two hours.

It says I have to launch the updater instead of the game, but there's no updater in the folder oO

Then I noticed it's only CoH and not CoV which I have a trial for.

Now when I try the Chodax(sp) method of downloading the updater from him, it says: "Unable to find updater!".

I'm fairly lost, I want to play my Corruptor
