Coursework Help (Not what it seems!)

Nah, i don't want someone to complete my coursework for me, well, that would be nice, but what i'm really looking for is a little help with questionnaires.

I'm doing A level economics coursework at the moment which requires i collect some primary data. I've created my own questionnaire online and if anyone has a spare minute it should only take a moment or two to complete. (Who knows, it could be fun!)

It's 10 questions (drop-down/tick box answers - No typing required!) regarding health insurance. Basically i'm looking at factors of demand for health insurance and different age groups. Any answers are very much appreciated.

duno how useful my answers are since ive never had health insurance

plus for that one about intending to purchase health insurance in the future - i put yes but would have prefered a 'mabye' option.

Like i probably would buy health insurance if in 20 years I'm a rich bastard.

Done, although I didn't answer the question that read 'What factors discourage you from purchasing health insurance?' beacuse my answer to the previous question, 'Does your job provide you with free health insurance?' was yes, which is why I haven't purchased health insurance.

Done - one comment though is that you're not investigating any link with the income of the person which I would think is a pretty significant link i.e. have money = more likely to buy health insurance

Anyway, couple of minor comments:

I wouldnt consider health insurance provided by an employer "free" - its just another part of the salary package most folks expect to receive, assuming we arent talking about working for McDonalds.

The encourage/discourage questions could do with a "Im happy with the provided-by-employer plan" option.

I suggest those that don't have it but can afford it, invest in health insurance. You may think you'll never need it (I though that when I came off my Dad's policy onto my own) but it is worth it. When I did my knee in and started seeing the multiple £500-£1500 bills being paid by the insurance to cover the private treatment, it was suddenly worth every penny.

Thats a really good point and something i should probably have included although i've shown this to my teacher already and he was very pleased with it. I'll be able to write about this issue anyway though so hopefully this won't matter but i'll have to check that with him.

I think i can probably write along the lines that those with health insurance from their employers will be less likely to purchase another plan so this hopefully won't be an issue either.
