Yea, all the gun companies would have jumped their case abpout taking the names. Sorry if there was confusion about the names. the reason i bout the game was because i got it for free and was backed by support from the STORE, along with valve. I dont see why it matters though; you dont need to freak out and talk to god man =)

No, i AM right 'c'....The name in the PURCHASED copy is the cv-47, get your facts right before you say somthing. If you think i dont know what im talking about when i said the name of the gun in cs that is like the ak-47 then your wrong. The name of the gun in the GAME is the cv-47, the name in the DEMO is the ak-47.

In response to Stu- about the name patch. I doubt that the guys at valve did that, but i could be wring. Ive been in the game buisness awhile and had plenty of experiece with the (c) on stuff. The patch was probably produced from a third-party person as an assistance. have you downloaded the patch yet? if so, does it affect the game any other way besides the names? If it does, you could be in serious trouble. When you change files like that (assuming this is a third-party(not from the company) you have a chance of files being changed without you knowing it and most-often without them meaning to be changed. Somtimes the game has problems un/installing and can have caused a coruption that could have an effect on an action that you dont use (those things in the game no one ever uses(they are called 'sweets' or basicaly extra sweatness to the game that inst brought up(yes, i get confusing =>)

Then again, you may have it and nothing is wring, or you dont have it and nothing is wrong. What im saying is be careful. email them and ask where they got ahold of it from.

errrrrm....demo? If you buy the RETAIL version, the gun names are different (eg cv-47, black hawk etc). If you use the DOWNLOADED version, they use the proper names (AK-47, Desert Eagle etc).

Where did you get "Demo" and "Game" from...

you can turn off the bobbing motions when you walk in cs,and you can turn of the weapons bobbing motions aswell.
you cant do nething bout the expanding crosshair tho.

No nuwclear i was refering to the REAL name of the gun which is there in THE FULL DOWNLOADABLE VERSION OF CS. there is no such thing as a demo for cs its free, you dont have to buy it, if u have half life then u just download it, and for FREE. The only difference in the version that u bought is that the gun names are incorrect, this i was led to believe was to do with the violence content of the game, not copyright.
You are obviously new to cs as u would not have otherwise made this stupid error, so i will forgive u this time. (MUmbles, dumb american, cant make his mind up damn unsure cant vote......)

Erm. It's on counter-strike.net. It was made by Gooseman, for people who bought the retail copy. ie, the guy that developed Counter Strike. Valve didn't make it.
