Many peeps here already know that I was a former CS addict.
I do miss most of the guys on the BW servers but won't play again until 1.4 gets released.

I'm having problems getting a lan game going with my Psion, my mate has a Gameboy and the two machines dont seem to be compatible with my multitap. I've downloaded the retail map patch but still no luck....any ideas. Another mate of mine mentioned SETI, is that a good game?

yeah, of course the previous versions of cs were much better, old stuff always is better than making changes, i mean, progress is bad and we should burn smart people like witches.
I wish i wasnt even using this "new" computer, i want my c64 back, cause being older it was, obviously far better. I myself enjoyed crappy models, and of course getting stuck on my fallen comrades corpses.
Sod all this nice graphics - realistic play crap.

CS beat Doom as the finest most enjoyable game I ever played - but I remember an excellent game which kept me up for ages.
2 player Whizzball
On the C64. Oh and 2 player bubble bobble.

The one Im talking about was by ocean software, 1 player controlled the wizzball, and the other player controlled the cat. You had to build up drops of colour, and do 'stuff' with the vials when they were full.
The cat was an ickle ball that fired at baddies, but couldnt stray too far from the whizzball

Yeh it was hard soon as you collected a few power up thingys and chose the right weapons tho you were leet, cat the cat to and you can really 0wn .
Took absolutely ages to complete if I remember, the kind where you give up then go back another time, couldnt save games back then either so it was a day at my computer .
The snow level number 7 I think was my fave, space 1 was 2nd .
Those were the days .
