Either yes or no!

If you had to choose, could you?

Voted yes but have absolutely no idea why.

Love can be seen in a near infinite number of ways so I suppose it depends on the context. If you had absolutely no love in the world, what would spur you on to do greater deeds and equally, why would you carry on living for a world which doesn't appreciate you?

I think it's a pretty self-explanitory question and find myself hard pressed to find anyone who would vote yes...even though I did without fully thinking about the question.

Am sure others will provide an opposite opinion but personally, I don't see how in the current climate, people can exist without love.

edit: jeez, how corny does that sound... seriously...

Have done so for nearly 29 years so, no worries here.

If we're talking about the "oh i lovez youz!" love.

Would be nice, but can live without.

Air, food, water. Those are my necessities.

Romantic love, sure. Been single long enough.

The rest, well for that my entire family would have to die which I am not sure I'd cope with!

of course i could, i mean its not like food or water or air is it? you don't suddenly keel over through lack of love. I mean it wouldn't be very nice i'm sure to live without cuddles but there are millions of people round thr world who love noone and no one loves them and they don't all just pop their clogs.

so yes i could but i'd rather not have to (i'm assuming your meaning love as in a human relationship, because i could live without that as long as i could surround myself with pets and become "that" funny woman down the street).

No. I took it to mean all forms of love. So no.

If there is no love at all from your family, friends, random people... and you cant give any love (cos there is no love) then definately no.

What would be the point if you cant even love life cos there is no love?

since love is an emotion it would mean we wouldnt have emotions, if we didnt have emotions, we wouldnt be humans but rather some kind of zombies walking around, we probably wouldnt even say stuff like hello or goodday to eachother since thats also wrapped in some emotions......hmmm this is a very big topic

Companionship is important. I think you could live with someone but not necessarily be in love with them, yet still be happy.

This deffo needs some definitions.

I love chocolate, but i'm guessing this thread is, as said, about that "i lovez her so much" love?

Yes we need some clarity.
I could live fine without anyone being 'in love' with me.

But if it is a world with no love at all, in any capacity, shape or form. Then no, the nature of what makes us human will have gone.

I would be very sad not to be loved by at least somebody on some level

no. do you think you can live without your definition of love?

But you just said that we've established that it's not just the "omgz i lovez you!!"...so i'm confused...

Is it my definition or all of our definition?
