If i could do carbide i would do it for cost, but unfortunately i have only just finished doing cobalt so not quite there yet.

The price of weapons and armour varies enormously depending on whether or not you want to specify a minimum quality, and then depending on the crafter's luck.

A carbide war spear costs 28g 36s 80c to make, and each retry (where the crafter sells the weapon back to a merchant NPC at a loss and starts over) costs 6g 76s 80c. How much markup the crafter charges, and how many retries it takes, will determine the final cost.

It won't. Just to buy the materials to make a full set of carbide osnadurtha costs a little over 216g. Sapphire cruanach would actually be cheaper.

They dont, very few lvl 24's can afford crafted kit without main/friend/guid support. Use mob-dropped armour, replace say, 2 pieces of armour every lvl or so. Unless you get guild help, or a big-lvl character to adopt you, you will struggle to keep yer kit up-to-date, all part of the challenge of the game. Dont fight it, enjoy the challenge
