If so, tried running fraps at the same time? xD

If I can do that it'll be alot of fun ;p

I got a 3.0 ATI Radeon Pro and 1gb of RAM. DR lags from time to time in 1600x1200. But I can duallog if I need to. Hope that helps abit atleast.

One thing you can do is Disable 1 of the CPu... When starting the game or are in the game go to Windows and do Alt+Ctrl+Del så you get your taskbar up.
Not sure what it called in english but its the Second flip with all Process, Find Game.dll and rightclick, Far down that list, last one is what you chose.

Disable one CPU and Play the game ... Work find for me.

There's one, right there. get yourself a Western Digital 16MB cache HDD instead - faster seek times and more reliable.

From overlcockers: Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-046-WD) - £53 inc VAT, win.

oO thanks for that! Anything else?

EDIT: Whats the windows installation like now with SATA drives? Still tricky or straight forward?

Did one last weekend on an Athlon based rig no problems whatsoever on install. However the next day I booted the machine and the got the message that it could not find Win boot files. Checked in Bios and it had somehow managed to switch boot priorities from a SATA drive to an older ATA drive which was in there purely to transfer files after the upgrade. Rather bizare. Left the drive in there and and it has done it a further 2 times even with the latest BIOS upgrade.

Personally i'd go with the crowd and go for the 7200.10s seem to be very reliable and the drive generally recommended by the overclockers forumers atm

edit: doh read above post.. seems i'm abit late

erm, the 7200.10 is the series where the alignment of the bits is perpendicular to the platter.
