Presumably they have some muslim customers. Presumably they might not like the idea of a piggy bank as a gift. Presumably they'd want to appeal to as many people as possible and as such they'll scratch the piggy bank and replace it with something that everyone can enjoy.

What's the problem with that? There's no PCness there, it's just them trying to pull in as many customers as possible.

/Oh, and pigs arnt filthy animals are they? Shouldnt we be on a PC inspired crusade (bad word probably!) to change thier opinions about pigs? Shouldnt we be campaigning to make muslim women realise that its not nescessary to cover their bodies and head, as no one wants to rape them? (Regardless of what thier religion tells them!)

Think your still missing the point that its only one bank thats decided not to call them piggy banks. It's not a PC crusade, not being forced down our throats. I'd agree if it was the EU or our own shoddy government trying to enforce this.
