It's difficult to be so damn good in every movie you do when you have to play the difficult roles. The likes of sean connery always played the same type of character so it was too easy for him, same with clint eastwood I hate to say.

You can't be the coolest if you've had nothing to test you.

Forgot to include Christian Bale in there as well. Was shocked to hear that just 6 months after the machinist whereby he basically starved himself and looked ill as hell for the role, he was off doing batman where he beefed up a ridiculous amount. To me, that earns a shed load of 'coolness' points for the dedication to his roles.
