Right-click and save the zip, unzip, configure and watch.

Then be amazed at how the whole thing fits in just the 200kb file.

It's very CPU/GPU intensive, so you will need a good PC to run it.[/QUOTE]

Tis amazing how that comes from a 200kb file!

I remember this sort of thing from waaaay back - there were competitions to make these 3d tech demos and they had to be like under 200k or something. I still have no idea how they manage it, I'd have thought the textures alone would take up 200k.

Lully stuff, but not that impressive to someone who grew up playing full games on a computer with 32K of RAM :)

They did have fancy gfx cards, just they were shit, and actually 1/2 a chip that had come loose from the main bit of cardboard.

fook me. That cant be completely self contained though....can it? It must rely on DX or openGL or something, and thats gotta be 50MB of libraries right there. It's still very impressive though.

Did nooone get into the demo scene way back when? The likes of Future Crew (Second Reality) and KFMK (Little Green Men) - I love that stuff :)

Procedural texture generation FTW!

Little Green Men - used to love that demo, mate had it and we used to go and hang out at his after college many moons ago, everyone would get blitzed and that would just sit looping in the background.

If anyone knows where I could find that let me know and I will have to email to everyone who used to pop around his house :)
